About Us

At Embracive Wellness, healing begins with an embrace.

About Embracive Wellness, LLC

Founded by Dr. LaTanya Townsend in 2022, Embracive Wellness, LLC was born from a vision to restore wholeness, balance, and liberation within communities. Rooted in African-centered principles of self-determination (Kujichagulia) and faith (Imani), the practice is dedicated to creating long-lasting healing for deeply rooted and intergenerational emotional wounds.

Within each session, clients are invited to engage in a sacred process of transformation where evidence-informed behavioral health practices meet ancestral and cultural wisdom. Each healing journey is a collaboration - a co-created space where therapist and client honor the power of story, spirit and self-awareness. Methods are adapted from multiple psychological frameworks and grounded in cultural affirmation. Together, these approaches uncover the deeper layers beneath anxiety, depression, trauma, and other challenges, allowing clients to reframe narratives, reclaim identity and restore inner harmony.

When one heals, the community heals and every restored life becomes an offering of hope for generations to come.
